is a Piper Cherokee PA28-180E manufactured in 1969 serial number 28-5827. The
airframe has covered approximately 7000 hours. The engine has undergone a
complete factory overhaul in the spring of 2022 . The aircraft is privately
operated on a CAA standard Certificate of Airworthiness and may be flown by
qualified pilots subject to the conditions detailed on the group conditions
page. The 180 horsepower engine generally provides sufficient power to enable
four average adults and full fuel to be carried, however reference must be made
to the Weight & Balance and Performance data which can be found in the
Pilots Operating Handbook. This data has been reproduced and is available on
the Downloads page accessible from the link on the
left. After opening these links, a copy may be saved on your computer for your
own later use.
Avionics fitted to this aircraft include a dual Garmin G5 EFIS configured as ADI and HSI, Comm1/Nav1 Garmin GNC255A with glideslope, Comm2/Nav2 Garmin GNC255A with glideslope, King KN62A DME, King KR87 ADF, Trig TT31 Transponder (Mode S), Garmin GMA340 Audio panel with markers and four place intercom with music inputs (3.5mm jack). Due to hygiene concerns and damage having been caused to cables etc., headsets are no longer being provided. It is therefore necessary for pilots to provide their own headsets, including those needed by their passengers.
